This course gives students space to slow down, connect with themselves, and develop practical tools for navigating both everyday stress and big emotions. It’s a time for reflection, honest check-ins, meaningful conversations, and cultivating a healthy mind.
Students will explore themes such as:
Understanding Emotions:
Naming feelings, noticing emotional patterns, understanding triggers, and learning how emotions move through the body and mind.Mindfulness Practices:
Breathing exercises, grounding techniques, guided reflections, sensory awareness, and simple habits that help students stay present.Healthy Coping Skills:
Tools for managing stress, anxiety, frustration, and overwhelm in a way that feels empowering and sustainable.Self-Awareness & Introspection:
Journaling, personal check-ins, observing thoughts with curiosity, and building a deeper sense of inner clarity.Communication & Relationships:
