Learning at The Freedom School is active, collaborative, and deeply student-centered. We’ve designed an environment where students feel empowered to explore their interests, think independently, and create meaningful work that reflects who they are.
Instead of memorizing facts or completing worksheets, our students engage in real-world, project-based learning — where curiosity leads the way and every week brings a new opportunity to build, create, and discover.
Project-Based Learning
Projects encourage students to:
investigate
design
build
problem-solve
create something meaningful

Collaborative & Dialogue-Rich
Learning is a social experience. Students work together, discuss ideas, ask questions, share perspectives, and learn from one another. Our classes are filled with conversation, reflection, and teamwork — not quiet rows of desks or passive listening.
Collaboration helps students build communication skills, empathy, confidence, and the ability to understand different viewpoints.
