Advisory & Mentorship
Advisory is the glue that holds the rest of the day together — a consistent mentor who checks in with each student one-on-one, roughly every other week, and gives them personalized guidance and support throughout their time at Freedom School.
We don’t have teachers — we have Learning Leaders. Advisory isn’t one of the five modes of learning like Sunrise, Foundations, Quests, Seminars and Odyssey — it’s the support underneath all of them: real, regular time with a mentor who knows each student well enough to coach both the practical question of what comes after high school, and the quieter, ongoing work of growing into a steady, whole person.
